The Center for Intelligent Information Retrieval (CIIR) at UMass Amherst is initiating a research internship program for Summer 2025. The applicants must be enrolled in full-time PhD programs (external to UMass Amherst) and must remain as an active student until September 2025. The internship program is an in-person position at UMass Amherst. The interns will work under the supervision of Prof. Hamed Zamani, CIIR Associate Director.
Examples of internship topics include Personalized Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and Generative Information Retrieval.
