TIDES Surprise Language 2003
Detection Work

This page gathers information about the detection work within the TIDES surprise language experiment for June 2003. A dry run of resource gathering will be carried out roughly March 4-14.

The tasks that will be addressed in the surprise language are: (1) cross-language IR with English queries against documents in the surprise language and (2) unspecified TDT tasks (probably tracking since it's the most likely to be successful).
