CIIR/ACSIOM contracts with Lotus Development Corp., a CIIR member, to provide search capability for their world-wide customer support center using InQuery. Lotus’ system was available to its entire customer base over the Internet. Research on domain-specific system refining resulted in new approaches for feature extraction from text.
