The UMass Board of Trustees voted on June 7, 2024 to award tenure to CIIR Associate Director Hamed Zamani who also received a promotion to Associate Professor within the Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences as a result of the vote. Prof. Zamani joined CICS as an assistant professor in September 2020.
