Inc. Magazine named CIIR/CICS PhD alum Hema Raghavan to the 2026 Female Founders 500 list which honors outstanding female leaders. According to Inc., the women chosen for this year's list "have achieved remarkable wins during the past 12 months." Hema is Co-Founder and Head of Engineering of Kumo.AI, a startup whose mission is to make the world's most important data also its most useful. Kumo won the 2026 Tech Innovation CUBEd Award for Most Innovative AI-Powered Data Platform and was an Inc. Magazine's 2025 Best in Business Honoree in the Best Startups category.
